Sandra Clodion

Sandra_Clodion  Sandra dresses furniture in Kamihimo (Japanese woven paper), which she discovers at the Maison & Objet show in 2008. She meets her Japanese manufacturer who sponsors her for two years.

This new material has immediately brought a new horizon to its creativity. Starting with her tapestry techniques, for a large part of her creations, she applies a technique of “weaving” singular for her screens, decorative panels, lights, chairs, seats …

Since then, this “weaving-weaving”, while playing with different colors, widths and textures, guides it towards compositions that are constantly evolving. Each time the network of interlacing composed of this paper, is renewed to infinity.

Everything follows little by little, Sandra responds to orders from luxury institutions (Guerlain, Christofle, Kenzo, Peugeot) and also a clientele of individuals, interior designers, decorators, …

She participated for four years at the Salon “Maison & Objet” as well as at the Salon Révélations at the Grand Palais in 2013 and she is nominated “Talent of elegance” at the Center of Luxury and Creation in 2013 …

The specialized press often echoes its work.

Sandra makes every effort to ensure that the result of her work is at once sober and elegant with a touch of singularity.

Sobriety, elegance and originality, it is inspired by the mood of the moment, its walks, its encounters.
