Bernard Desportes is the person in charge of this course, and will be the one to tell you if your piece of furniture can be restored, and how to do it properly.

Laser Cutting and Engraving
A laser cutting is a process which allows extremely precise cutting of many materials.
The machine of the Etablisienne, a Mercury III of GCC, allows you to cut and engravings in the wood, plexiglass, cardboard, paper, leather …
PLA is used in food packaging and in the manufacture of many injected, extruded or thermoformed articles.
The PLA is the material used by the 3D printer at l’Etablisienne.

The word patina refers to techniques that involve changing the tone of paint. This is a term that also refers to the appearance and coloring that objects take with time and the effects wich are given for artificial aging of an object by imitating the “patina of age” .
During this workshop 2:30, Catlet introduces you to the preparation of materials and presents the oil glaze.
Marie offers you a second pallet’s workshop to guide you this time through the achievement of your own object in wooden palette. During those three hours you can make and leave with one of the objects specially designed by this young designer,
Abandoned materials and objects are everywhere around us. In the street , pallets, crates, cartons, fund wardrobe and drawer …. are just waiting for a second life .
Glass and paper are collected and revert glass or paper, they are recycled.
Long , the objects of their primary function is diverted , a basin becomes a flower tray , ladder a towel holder . Add value to the material while saving our resources, it’s Up Cycling

From the world of insurance, Virginie with a strong taste for decoration and design, decided to become a upholsterer. She obtained her degree in 2004 CAP upholstery seat. In addition, she completed and perfected his training by attending classes with a specialized dress-maker.
